Arrive at Maun Airport from Johannesburg and met by your safari guide, who will be holding a sign board that reads “MARVELOUS MOBILE SAFARI”. The guide will then take you to your hotel or lodge for your overnight.
The first nights accommodation and meals are at the clients expense.
In the morning you will drive 192 km in a safari game viewer vehicle on a tarred road with a professional guide to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park lying southeast of the Okavango Delta surrounded by the Kalahari Desert. The Makgadikgadi Pan is a salt pan situated in the middle of the dry savanna of north-eastern Botswana, and is one of the largest salt flats in the world. Very little wildlife exist here during the harsh dry season of strong hot winds and only salt water, but following a rainy season the pan becomes an important habitat for migrating animals including wildebeest and one of Africa's biggest zebra populations, Flamingos and the large predators that prey on them.
Wonderful morning and afternoon game drive inside the Makgadikgadi Pans. As very few animals migrate in and out of the pan, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, jackals, antelopes, Meerkat and many birds’ species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals.

Early morning game drive at Makgadikgadi Pans. Afterwards you return to Maun. Reaching Maun in the afternoon and transfer you to the hotel or lodge you booked, and overnight in Maun, and relax during the night as the following day you will be heading to the mighty Okavango Delta.
Early in the morning after breakfast pick-up from the lodge/hotel by your driver and leave to the mighty Okavango Delta a UNESCO Heritage Site. In the delta you will meet the local Mokoro (dug-out canoe) poler who will serve as your guide. The activity will be conducted by the community guide and our Chef and camp assistants will be there with you.
Upon arrival in the delta you will get in a canoe/mokoro on your way to the camping grounds in the island of the delta where you will have lunch and siesta. In the late afternoon go for a walking safari experiencing the art of safari whilst walking in the same ground with animals like: Zebras, elephants, Red Lechwe, blue-wildebeest and other different bird species like pied kingfisher, cormorant and the African data.
After breakfast go for an early morning walk for 2 hours, on foot you are able to have a much more intense experience of the bush experiencing the Okavango delta islands and animals found in the delta. Lunch will be served at the camp and siesta, relaxation. After siesta jump into the canoe now experiencing the Okavango Delta channels, birds, and trees and experiencing the mokoro dugout while in the delta. On return relaxation, dinner is served, after dinner just relax under the milky starlit and learn more about astronomy and even do storytelling.
On the departure day you will drive to Maun and then be transferred to the airport to continue with other travel arrangements.
